About
Couples coaching begins by establishing a "container" from which to work - namely establishing safety, boundaries, or expectations that are needed for the work to move forward.
Next the couple is guided to create a written "map" that notes the specifics of what will assist in reparing the relationship and nourishing the couple as a unit, as well as the inviduals in the relationship, respectively.
This is done in great detail and to be used by the couple daily. Several aspects may go into this, in time - taking ito account and exploring "attachment styles", history of the individuals in the relationship, history of the couple, and potentially related unconscious patterns or beliefs that may or may not serve the best interest of those involved.
