About
"Dr. Brene Brown says 'Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen'. The hope I have for my clients is that counseling will be a safe place to show up and be seen without judgement, and I hope that this will be a moment of courage for them to reach out and begin their journey."
Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor and received her Masters degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University in 2006. She began working with teenagers and families 2007 at a non-profit counseling center in Dallas. In 2009 she moved to ACH Child and Family Services in Fort Worth where she worked as a case manager with homeless teenagers at the Emergency Youth Shelter, and then later as a therapist with the STAR program.
Taylor moved to Belton in 2014 and has been in private practice since that time. She offers a warm, down-to-earth environment where clients can feel safe being authentic and vulnerable about their struggles. She is a member of the Texas Counseling Association and specializes in working with adolescents, individuals, couples, and military families whose lives are burdened by anxiety, depression, behavior issues, anger, grief, and general life stressors. She has availability (Tuesdays-Fridays, and every other Saturday) and accepts insurance (BCBS, Tricare, SWHP, Magellan, Humana, Compsych, and Cigna).
