About
Steve Hudgins, MA, LPC, NCC is a United States Army veteran who enjoys serving his country and others. He often volunteers his time helping others through hardships, with food banks and various other community activities. He is a 2012 graduate of Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in counseling.
His extensive background of living in three countries and touring 29 states has provided him with knowledge and wisdom of different cultures, religion, ethnic groups and ages that allows him to effectively touch lives. As a faith-based person (ask about faith-based therapy) and a cancer survivor, Steve has overcome great odds. He went from a 34% chance of surviving to 2021 to a 95% chance of living a long life. His battles make him a therapist who can sympathize and empathize with a true understanding of what you are going through.
Steve has a vast background of employment experience; from being a bank teller, telecommunications engineer, restaurant and retail management to being a director at an inpatient hospital. These experiences challenged him to break records as his stores thrived because the investment was in the employees. He has also served as a trainer, mentor, teacher in faith-based groups and classes, authored and published stories, poems and blogs that has taught him about motivation and purpose to encourage, inspire and uplift others.
Having 20 plus years in customer service has enabled him to have a soft, compassionate and empathetic approach to therapy. Dealing with life’s complications can be taxing on you and those around you. Because of Steve’s own diverse personal experiences, he would like to develop a therapeutic relationship with you in order to assist you in improving your quality of life by offering positive reflections of lasting hope and awareness that you are not alone.
