My approach to couple's therapy is relational, existential, and humanistic. Everyone carries their past, includint their wounds into their relationships. Vital relationships, such as marriage, are prone to projections and triggers which can lead to intensified conflict. These conflicts can lead to growth and deeper intimacy when approached openly with compassion and courage. I work with couples to find what is underneath and behind conflicts. A path to deeper intimacy can be found through the very conflicts that often tear couples apart. Eventually couples learn to love each other's difference. That is true intimacy.
