Meghan Freed
About
Meghan Freed is a divorce attorney and founded and runs Freed Marcroft, one of Connecticut's largest award-winning divorce and family law firms.
Meghan is particularly experienced with alternative dispute resolution, including divorce mediation, collaborative divorce, and arbitration. She is also a graduate of Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation.
But ADR isn't an option for every couple, and Freed Marcroft commits to having the skills and experience to meet clients wherever they are and do our best work for them.
That's why, throughout Freed Marcroft's divorce litigations, we have a strategic two-track approach -- prepare for trial and identify (and create) fertile ground for out-of-court settlements. In other words, even if you aren't in a mediation or collaborative divorce, our lawyers continually develop negotiation skills to help you reach resolutions outside court. And, because in many cases, the best defense is a strong offense, we also emphasize and continually hone our courtroom skills so that we can suit up and go to court when that's the right approach for you. We have the trial skills and courage to take it all the way in front of a judge.
