Relationships can be hard to navigate at times. We often subconsciously model our patterns of relating to others after our parents. Sometimes our relationships play out in negative ways because we had an unhealthy relationship with one or both of our parents. We begin our life-long lesson in relating to others when we are infants. As a baby our brains were wired for our current attachment style!
Nevertheless, we all need to be in healthy relationships with our significant other and loved ones in order to truly be happy.
As a counselor with over 15 years of experience, I have assisted 1000s of women and some men in learning what healthy and happy relationships look like. I have helped individuals and families overcome relationship problems, stressful parenting challenges, blended family struggles, and toxic marriage recovery.
I help my clients learn healthy relationship building skills including boundaries, communication, and increasing positive interactions. You can feel calm, confident, and in control of your relationships!
