Lesley is a licensed professional counselor who is the proud owner of Bridges Counseling of Worthington. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management & Economics from Mount Union University in Alliance, Ohio and received her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. Additionally, Lesley is a Certified Coach. Lesley’s mission is to helping people to live intentionally and wholly, even when life presents challenges and pain. Lesley believes that counseling is not a “quick fix” to the struggles of life, but by using an empathetic and results-oriented approach she works with her clients to ensure goals are identified and a therapeutic plan is outlined to push forward toward healing and progress. She strives to serve her clients by balancing behavioral and cognitive approaches, equipping clients with effective behavioral strategies as well helping to process mental blocks and trauma. As a coach Lesley is passionate about helping talented people achieve at the highest level - both personally & professionally- and finding ways to push past barriers and delays. Lesley’s professional experience consists of over 14 years of experience in working with populations she is passionate about helping, including working with students at the collegiate level, with survivors of sexual assault, couples entering marriage as well as those facing times of struggle including couples working through infidelity, and professionals facing career confusion, frustration or delays. She has been a speaker for church, women’s groups, collegiate, and business functions. Lesley holds counseling and coaching sessions in the office but is also available for phone and Skype sessions when clients are unable to meet in person. Reach Lesley via the office website
