I am trained as a marriage and family therapist and take a systemic approach to any couple that I work with. I utilize my training to help clients work through potential relational issues and understand each other more fully.
I take a collaborative approach - I set limits and boundaries from the start so that everyone is on the same page and I do my best to give space to each person individually on a topic before moving to potential solutions or differing ways of approaching something. My time at the University of Florida allowed me to gain experience in their Advanced Family clinic where I saw couples and collaborated with other therapists working with couples and families to provide the best training possible.
