I like to provide couples with a blend of psycho-education as well as deeper insight. I work with couples to uncover the deeper issues within the attachment layer of the relationship and find that the best progress is made when we uncover issues with connection, closeness, and emotional safety. I pair this with practical tools to try each week so that my couples feel they are making progress along the way and seeing hope in the process. I utilizie many of the principles of Emotionally-Focused Couples therapy as well as research-based information regarding attachmet, neuroscience, and healthy relationship dynamics.
