My approach isn't "therapy" becasue that mostly doesn't work. I do "training" to see what realtionships skills you have and make them stronger. Next, we look at what skills you need to have the relationship go the way you'd like it to, and give you the training to develop those. I am very results oriented, so if what you want is change, that's what we'll concentrate our time on so you can get out of being stuck.
No need to go back in the past and dredge up all the arguments, negative emotions and painful history. What happened in the past doesn't matter - it's what you want to happen next that is the most important. We're supposed to learn from the past, then let it go. All success is a series of small, well-exectued steps toward your goal, so that's what we focus on.
