As our pain deepens, we develop coping strategies to numb and protect ourselves. These painful experiences and defense patterns can have long-lasting detrimental effects that deprive us of joy and meaning in our lives and relationships. However, although painful, these places of darkness can be catalysts to rewrite our story and move us towards healing and reconnection. I combine evidence based practices Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, Interpersonal Neurobiology, IFS, etc.) with relational based approaches when working with individuals and couples to target the root cause of issues as well as the symptoms they create. I treat each session as a sacred opportunity to walk together, in a collaborative partnership, to reach your goals, needs, and desired outcomes.
