Jeff counsels children (ages 12 and up), adults, couples, and families with an emphasis on relational wholeness and meaning. He holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from The Ohio State University (1992) and has been licensed as an Independent Social Worker (LISW) since 1995 in the State of Ohio. Jeff is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional since 2018. He has counseled couples and individuals on relationship issues ranging from misunderstanding and communication differences to infidelity and partner’s childhood abuse. Jeff is a Christian, and mercy and forgiveness influences his perspective, and he has worked with individuals and couples from a variety of faith traditions and perspectives including Evangelical, Protestant, Catholic, Mormon, Atheist, Agnostic, Islam, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Buhdist, and Hindu, as well as Gay and Transgender; also Caucasian, African American, African Immigrant, Hispanic-American, Asian American, Middle Eastern American, and Middle Eastern Immigrant. In addition to Outpatient Behavioral Health, he has experience in adolescent Residential Treatment, Foster Care, Home-Based, and Community Outreach.
Jeff is married to Susan, his bride of more than 30 years, and they attend Dwell Community Church Westside Sphere in the Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus. They love music and play & sing in church and in community bands together, as well as sing at home. During the COVID-19 Pandemic Jeff is providing video-conferencing counseling only, due to being in a high risk group.
