About
Inclusive Counseling provides individual, couples, family, group, and workshop services regardless of sexual orientation, religious beliefs, gender, race, etc. We advocate a supportive, accepting, and open therapeutic environment for our clients to feel comfortable to engage in personal disclosure and growth. We support an approach where both the client and therapist play vital roles in the therapeutic process. The process is client driven, and clients define problems in their life. Traditional therapy, on the contrary, tells clients what is a "problem" and what is not. At Inclusive Counseling, the therapist's role is as a guide or coach, rather than as a parent. Therapists provide insight and suggestions, empowering clients to take responsibility and control of their own lives. Mutual feedback is an important part of this relationship, as it steers therapy in the most helpful direction for our clients. In a nutshell, you possess the capacity for positive change and we are here to help you!
