My wife and I got married two days after I joined the Air Force, and we welcomed our first son while I was in pilot training. We wanted our children to have a peaceful, loving home, but that dream started to slip away when anger and resentment built up in our marriage.
We went to therapy, read books, attended retreats, and said prayers, but nothing helped. Eventually, we got fed up and started talking about divorce.
After many years of bad therapy, we switched to a therapist trained in Dr. Schnarch’s Crucible Approach. We made more progress in our first month of Crucible Therapy than we had in five years of therapy with five different therapists.
I left the Air Force to learn Crucible Therapy because I want to help other couples like our therapist helped us.
