About
My passion is to work with adolescents and adults who have been struggling with life’s circumstances. My goal is to help you navigate these circumstances to the best of your ability. Sometimes, all we need as humans is kindness, caring and a bit of direction with whatever we are facing.
If you or your family are facing marital distress, traumatic events, depression, anxiety, grief, or something else, I would be honored to be the person you choose to walk alongside of you. I have found that these issues permeate across generations. My particular passion is to work with your family together to foster unity, connection, and healing.
Each person and each family are meant to heal and to grow but sometimes, as humans, we get stuck and run into bumps in the road. Your story is valuable and is worthy of being heard. If you feel that we would work well together, I invite you to be brave, give me a call, and to tell your story.
Education and Experience
I earned my Masters of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Lee University and am provisionally licensed in the state of Tennessee as a marriage and family therapist, working towards full licensure while under supervision.
I have worked with a multitude of issues including, but not limited to infidelity, marital distress; complex trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, crisis prevention and suicidal ideation. I have found that these issues permeate across generations. Thus, I aim to provide services to individuals, couples, and families, in all stages of life. In all of these ages, I found great joy in working with families together to create lasting change.
Each person and each family are meant to heal and to grow but sometimes, as humans, we get stuck and run into bumps in the road (or even giant potholes). Your story is valuable and is worthy of being heard. If you feel that we would work well together, I invite you to be brave, give me a call, and to tell your story.
On a Personal Note
I have strong roots here in East Tennessee, having been born and raised in Blount County. As a Tennessee native, naturally, I bleed orange for the Vols. My family includes myself, my husband, and our two rescue dogs Zora and Vera. We love to play games, kayak, and drive through the mountains.
