I specialize in working with couples because we can benefit from some guidance when their primary relationship is not working for them, robbing them of the life they desire. Thus, I'm straightforward, providing questions, support, instruction, and feedback. I’m active in our interaction. No bobblehead for you to deal with. You’re the expert on the details about you; my job is to help you make use of who you are to become more of whom you want to be.
Becoming a more effective partner is the most efficient way to change a relationship. Therapy becomes effective as you apply new knowledge to break ineffective patterns and develop better ones. The key tasks of couples therapy are increasing your clarity about:

This entails identfying what each of you want from the relationship and then being more intentional in the behaviors which contribute to and maintain a fulfilling relationship.
