White Tiger Counseling approaches marriage and relationship counseling from a self-improvement perspective. We believe for a relationship to be healthy, each person within the relationship needs to be whole and healthy. Learning to be a whole person in the relationship allows the couple to work on the relationship from a team perspective rather than adversarial perspective. We also believe the two most significant contributors to relationship breakdown is expectations and lack of mutual understanding. Specifically, individuals enter into relationships with expectations for the other person in the relationship which are often unrealistic and lack of willingness to understand our partner leads to frustration and isolation.
