I tell couples to treat their relationship like their first child. When your first baby coughs funny or spikes a fever you immediately call the doctor. What if you sought support for your relationship at the first sign of trouble? Most couples wait too long before seeking counseling, meaning there’s more heavy lifting to do once you get there. Just like you’d rather treat a cold than wait for it to develop into pneumonia, come work on your relationship while there’s still good to build on. I help couples improve communication, hear each other, and stop having the same old fight on repeat.
