Are you someone who is in a committed relationship where you are co-existing but are struggling to deeply connect or work through conflict? Have you lived through a difficult challenge that has put stress on your family (i.e. loss of a parent or job, substance abuse problem, etc.)? Or are you a new parent and you’re having difficulty adjusting to the demands that come with this new life stage? You are not alone. And these are all issues and challenges that can be addressed in therapy where we explore your needs, identify your strengths, practice new skills, and work together towards your goals.
I have over 15 years experience working with couples and families and I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, which is proven to enhance more than 75% of couples relationships. In addition, I utilize knowledge about the brain, body, and nervous system (neurobiology) to inform my practice and allow for healing to occur on a deeper level.
