Michael Anderson, LMHC Licensed Mental Health Counselor | Claimed
About
As a therapist, I believe that the relationship between you and I is the most essential aspect of therapy. I aim to create an environment that is based on trust and empathy; to establish a space that is safe and non-judgmental in order to work through and process difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
The hardest step at times is reaching out to someone when you are feeling stuck, lonely, sad, or confused. The type of therapy I want to create is based on acceptance and support. I look forward to getting to know you and to help get you to the places where you want to be.
Therapy is a space where you can explore feelings, troubles, and ideas in a safe, caring, and nonjudgmental place. In therapy, we can work on forming an honest, trusting relationship and begin to build a better understanding of yourself while empowering you to increase your quality of life and work towards your goals.
