I am Certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy which identifies the pattern you get into that creates the distance and we practice in the room how to talk at the deeper level of what is underneath the pattern and distancing - all the feelings, anger, rejection, withdrawal, hurt, sadness, feeling not good enough, not being heard, feeling like I do not matter and others that are unique to your own pattern.
