Often, we are uncomfortable taking the first step to speak to a stranger about our personal issues. However once coming in for therapy many people find it comforting having a safe place to speak their mind, with a therapist who is there to listen and guide them thru the difficulties of life. I use a client-centered approach in which the client determines their own path, identifies strengths and any roadblocks.
