Well, I keep hearing from couples that I don't take sides like what was occuring with their previous experience. That takes focus, discipline and committment, and for me it's about my calling to serve. My style of therapy includes listening deeply to the client in front of me, and sometimes that client is the marriage relationship. I tend to be psychodynamic at the core, while what usually surfaces is an integrated blend of Rogerian, CBT, EMDR, EFT, Gottman, Solutions-based, and even the so-called feminist approach.
