About
My desire is to provide clients with a sense of hope and a deeper understanding of themselves and their struggles. A goal of the counseling process is that clients are able to gain growth and insight in all areas of their lives; emotional, spiritual, mental, physical, and in their relationships, with a primary focus on developing solution-oriented skills.
Christy is an approved network counselor for Focus on the Family and New Life Ministries. She also facilitates intensive weekend growth workshops for New Life Ministries. Christy's experience has been focused strongly in the areas of marriage, parenting, and women's issues. With a key emphasis on addressing the challenges of depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, co-dependency, spiritual growth, and grief.
Outside of her clinical work, Christy has college teaching experience, published writings, and content contributions to a newly created mental health app. In 2023, Christy sold the group practice she founded and managed since 2016.
She is currently seeing clients via Telehealth (video) only. To learn more about her and the clients she serves visit https://christybillingscounseling.com/ or you can email her directly or visit her website at https://christybillingscounseling.com/
On a personal note, Christy has an extensive history volunteering in her church, community and local school board. She and her husband, Brian, have been married 35+ years and have 3 children. When she is not spending time with her family, Christy enjoys playing tennis, bicycling, reading and traveling.
